PURPOSE:To make the tracking density much higher by eliminating the pasting of an erasing core from both sides of a recording and reproducing core thereby simplifying the construction and improving the accuracy of the distance between the recording and reproducing gap and the erasing gap. CONSTITUTION:A bulky magnetic core 12 is pasted via a member patterned with thin film magnetic cores 16, 17 and an erasing gap 18 on a non-magnetic plate 21 and on a member patterned with a thin film magnetic core 14 on a non- magnetic plate 19 via a recording and reproducing gap 13 on a bulky magnetic core 11 in a magnetic head of a tunnel erasing type. Then the number of parts is reduced and the distance between the gap 13 and the gap 18 is accurately controlled by the thickness of the non-magnetic plates 19, 21. If the positions of the cores 16 and 17 are adequately deviated in accordance with the diameter of the disc used, the difference in inside rings is eliminated without providing azimuth angle to the gaps 13, 18. The pasting from both sides is further eliminated and the higher track density up to the limit of the thickness of the bulk cores 11, 12 is made possible. |
