PURPOSE:To calculate a precise wavelength by computing the true peak position based on vibration values at least at three points near the peak of an output signal of a sensor array. CONSTITUTION:When estimation is made at three points near the maximum value by approximating on a linear line bent at the maximum point, the number of sensors at three points near the maximum value are expressed by n-1, n and n+1 and the intensities of light by yn-1, yn and yn+1. When yn+1-yn-1 is positive, the precise estimated position n* of the maximum value is as given by the formula I while by the formula II when yn+1-yn-1 is negative. n*=n is given when yn+1-yn-1 is zero. The calculation can be performed briefly using a small microcomputer. |
