PURPOSE:To obtain a member for ornamental articles by using an Ni alloy, Au alloy and Cu alloy in forming the surface part of an outside material and using powder assemblage for the core material. CONSTITUTION:The surface part of an outside material is formed of an Ni alloy, Au alloy and Cu alloy and the core material is formed of powder assemblage. Mineral powder such as, for example, MgO, Al2O3 or the like is used preferably as the powder for the core material for its lightness. The outside member is formed by joining a different material such as, for example, a Ti alloy on the inside surface of said surface part. It is further possible to embed a strength reinforcing body in the powder assemblage and the strength and elasticity are thus improved. Such member for ornamental articles satisfies the strength, toughness, designability and processability required in the case of forming, for example, a spectacle frame, and meets fully the requirement for the reduction in weight. |
