PURPOSE:To provide an original for a direct drawing type lithographic printing in variably free from ground staining and with a better printability without strict management of drying conditions by laminating an image receiving layer containing an inorganic pigment, CMC and a polyglycidyl ether compound on a water resistant support. CONSTITUTION:An image receiving layer containing (A) an inorganic pigment (e.g. kaolin clay and aluminum oxide), (B) CMC and (C) a polyglycidyl ether compound (e.g. compounds of the formulas I and II) preferably at the rate of 0.1-0.5pt.wt. of the components B+C with respect to 1pt.wt. of the component is attached to a water resistant support preferably at the rate of 5-15g/m<2> for one side thereof to obtain an intended original. |
