PURPOSE:To correct easily variance of reading output between chips by giving bias potential for correction for each light sensor block instead of grounding lines connected in common in an IC chip to correct the variance of output between light sensor blocks. CONSTITUTION:A driving circuit and a correcting circuit are provided on the same substrate with corresponding light sensor blocks. As bias voltage for correction, VCC divided by resistors RB1, RB2 formed on the same substrate with the light sensor blocks is substituted for ground potential as bias potential. The value of resistance is measured by the laser trimming of RB1 or RB2 for each chip while monitoring output voltage OUT after giving a fixed amount of light to the light sensor. By performing above correction for each chip after mounting, the output of each characteristic light sensor block can be made uniform as a long sensor unit without selecting many chips. |
