A method of sintering a pulverulent material wherein the material suspended in an oxygen-containing gas is discharged from a duct (1) with a rotary flow into the upper end of a rotary inclined kiln (2) to the upper end of which fuel is also fed through a pipe (9). The material is separated from the suspension and deposited on the wall of the kiln, and slides down the kiln to an outlet. |
