PURPOSE:To surely drive accessories and as well to maintain the durability of a timing belt, by using a double-toothed timing belt as the afore-mentioned timing belt and as well by fitting a toothed pulley onto an accessory drive shaft. CONSTITUTION:Engine power is transmitted from a crankshaft 9 to valve drive cam shafts 10, 11 through a timing belt 19 which is a double-toothed timing belt formed with teeth 22 at predetermined pitches also in the rear surface thereof. Further, a pulley 15 having teeth 17a which mesh with the teeth 22 is fitted onto an accessory drive shaft 15. By means of these teeth 17a, 22, accessories are driven. With this arrangement the accessories may be surely driven, and the durability of the timing belt may be maintained. |
