<p>A construction set preferably toy set comprising building members and coupling members, in which the building members have specific geometrical relationships as to their length, width and thickness and all their sizes are dependent on a basic size (a) which defines the width of the basic elements. The said comprise elongated members have rounded end sections, having a length being multiple of the basic size. The thickness of all elements is equal to a basic thickness. An appropriate number of throughgoing holes are defined in every member, and the distance of the holes from the end points of the elongated members is uniformized and it is generally the half of the basic size. The coupling elements are threaded bolts and nuts with an outer diameter for the bolts loosely sitting in the holes. Preferably the basic diameter of the holes is equal to the thickness of the elements which is about a quarter of the basic size. By selecting such sizes a rather aesthetic appearance can be attained and the various members can be assembled in a practically unlimited number of configurations, thereby childerns" phantasy and creativity is largely improved. </p> |
