PURPOSE:To unify both information even if two kinds of error generation rate exist by separating picture information and coded information into two fields to process them separately, providing an error correcting means to both information respectively and applying two stages error correction to the latter information. CONSTITUTION:Whether coded information or picture information is discriminated when writing. In case of the former, a data shown in A in 128 bytes is divided into two and written in a buffer of an MM12 in the form shown in Fig. B in duplication. A flag 1 is 52 bytes and a flag 2 is 2 bytes in Fig. B. A CRC computing hardware 16 and a DMA controller 15 are set up and contents of a buffer 14 shown in Fig. B are transferred to an optical disc device 13. The DMA controller 15 transmits a data in 118 bytes shown in Fig. B to the computation hardware 16. The CRC is calculated in it, the CRC in 2 bytes are added and transmitted to the device 13. The device 13 applies the 1st error correction coding processing to the data and writes it in the optical disc. In case of the picture information, the data is transferred as normal mode. |
