PURPOSE:To eliminate the adjustment of a crank-angle sensor by detecting the deviation between the actually-detected position and a target detecting position of a crank angle sensor from the resistance of an external resistor for adjusting the time between the detection of a fixed crank position by an output of the crank angle sensor and the operation of a timing light. CONSTITUTION:At the time of initial adjustment, an external resistor 42 is adjusted so that a timing light may be operated at a target detecting position. Then, a deviation thetaR between actually-detected position and a target detecting position of the crank angle sensor is detected by a resistance value R of the external resistor 42. According to this thetaR, timings of ignition and fuel injection are adjusted. This construction permits elimination of the adjustment of the crank angle sensor. |
