PURPOSE:To facilitate tool exchange by installing an exchanging arm onto the piston rod of a cylinder for tool exchange and intalling foute selectors for the grooved cam of a guide member installed between the cylinder and the piston rod. CONSTITUTION:The base part 17a of a cylinder 17 having a relatively large thickness is supported by bearings 18 and 19 in an apparatus fixing part 16, and a piston 23 is inserted in slidable ways into a cylinder 17. A cylindrical grooved cam member 26 is fitted rotatably onto the outer periphery of the cylinder 17, and the intermediate part of an exchange arm 14 is fixed onto the flange part 26a at the rear edge of said member 26. A cam follower 30 is engaged into a grooved cam 29 formed on the cam member 26, and the front and the rear cam grooves 42 and 43 which extend in the axial direction, keeping an angular distance of 180 deg. in the peripheral direction and a turning cam groove which communicates between the both cam grooves are provided on the grooved cam 29. Route selectors 40 and 41 are arranged in the respective crossing parts of the cam grooves and urged downward by each spring. |
