<p>PURPOSE:To effectively utilize CaO by bringing waste gas into contact with a moving bed consisting of a packing material mixed with CaO, then separating the packing material into the packing material, coarse CaO particles, dust, reaction products and fine CaO particles and returning the packing material to the moving bed. CONSTITUTION:The waste gas from an incinerator 1 is brought into contact with a packing material of CaO, quartz sand, etc., packed in a moving bed which is partitioned by a louver 11 and a perforated plate 12, hence HC and SOx are absorbed, dust is also collected and a cleaned gas is obtained and discharged. The packing material is drawn out from the lower part of the moving bed and separated by a vibrating screen 14 into the packing material, coarse CaO particles, dust, reaction products and fine CaO particles. The packing material and coarse CaO particles are recirculated to the moving bed by a conveyor 15 and the fine CaO particles, etc., are charged into the incinerator 1 through a transfer pipe 16 and a conveyor 6.</p> |
