Hydraulic drive with a hydraulic cylinder (2), having an arrangement for providing a position signal via a hydraulic measuring circuit independent of the hydraulic circuit for the adjustment of the working piston. The hydraulic measuring circuit has a measuring piston (22) which is displaceably arranged between a stop (26) on the working piston and a fixed stop (24). To take a position measurement, the measuring piston is brought to bear hydraulically against the fixed stop. It is then acted upon from the opposite side until it comes against the stop at the working piston. As a result, the fed fluid is detected by a volumetric meter (36) and indicated directly or indirectly as a path which the measuring piston has covered. This path corresponds to the respective position of the working piston relative to its initial position. |
