<p>A pressure plate is spring-loaded against a driving plate and secured by leaf springs to the clutch housing etc., so as to turn with and slide in relation to it. Fixing devices (8), securing the springs (5) to the plate (1), have portions (14) widened in the radial direction on the side of the springs opposite to the plate. - They are secured in blind holes (11) in the radial portion (9) of the plate friction face (10), with their shanks (12a) inside the holes expanded in the radial direction. The blind holes can be profiled, so as to deform the shanks as they are expanded. (1/5) DEAB- DE3224404 C The friction clutch pressure plate is loaded towards a driver disc and is joined by springs to the housing but hinged to permit axial movement. The springs are hinged to the plate by fasteners led through the springs. - On the spring (5) side furthest from the pressure plate (1) the fastener (8) should be radially expanded (14) prior to riveting so as to hold the springs in place and is anchored in a blind hole (11) in the radial part of the plate friction surface (10). Part of a pin sector (12a) in the hole is spread out radially and accommodated here by profiling (16) over an axial part (15) of the blind hole for the fastener. This is plastically deformed so it fills out the profiling.</p> |
