PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of buckling force by a method in which the cylinder at the uppermost stage is supported separatedly from each cylinder at the lower stage, and water-pressure loads acting on a water control board serving as a distributing board are transmitted from the cylinder at the uppermost stage to concrete blocks. CONSTITUTION:When surface water intake is made from a normal water level NWL to a low water level LWL, the intake of water is made in such a way that the uppermost stage cylinder 11 and a distributing board 8 are kept at equal interval by a tension rod 9. When the distributing board 8 is used as a water control board, the board 8, when a rope 5 is loosened by a winder 4, goes down under its own weight to the inlet port 11a of the cylinder 11 under guidance of the rod 9, and the inlet port 11a is completeley closed by the board 8 serving as the water control board 8'. In this case, the water pressure load acting on the board 8' is transmitted from the pressure support plate 14 of the board 8' through a metal receiver 22 to concrete blocks 23. |
