PURPOSE:To obtain a reduction gear with simplified construction both being compactly formed and decreasing a torque loss, by fixing the thrust position of planet rollers through inscribed rings by a thrust bearing member. CONSTITUTION:Both a washer 11, arranged between an inscribed ring 4 and 5 aligned in the axial direction and used as a thrust bearing member, and washers 10, 12 are formed by a molded article of synthetic resin with a small frictional coefficient. Housings 8, 9 both hold rolling bearings 20 and fix the washers 10, 12 being a rotary guide face guiding rotation of the inscribed rings 4, 5. A torque loss by friction, caused by the washers 10, 11 and 12 brought in slide contact with surfaces in the axial direction of the rotating inscribed ring 4 or 5, is decreased to a very small level as considered in an input shaft 1 because of not only a small frictional coefficient of the washers 10, 11 and 12 but also large reduction of a speed of rotation in the inscribed ring 4 and 5 as viewed from the input shaft 1, further carriers 2 never receive thrust force at all. |
