PURPOSE:To enable the range of turning angle of a rotary shaft to be adjusted, by turning an adjusting screw so as to adjust a distance between adjusting screw metal fittings fixed to a pair of cylinder heads. CONSTITUTION:If air is repeatedly introduced from and discharged to the outside through air introducing ports 7 provided in cylinder heads 8, a piston 3, that is, a rack 1 air-tightly performs reciprocating motion in a cylinder 5. In consequence, a pinion 2 engaged with the rack 1 is rotated, accordingly a rotary shaft 15 performs turning motion in the range of a prescribed turning angle. Because of fixing adjusting screw metal fittings 21 to the cylinder heads 8 by bolts 9 and adjusting screw receiving seats 13 to mounting bed seats equipping mounting holes 12, a space between the adjusting screw metal fittings 21, 21, that is, a distance between the cyliner heads 8, 8 can be changed by turning an adjusting screw 14. This enables a stroke of the rack 1 to be changed, thus a turning angle of the pinion 2, that is, the turning angle of the rotary shaft 15 can be controlled. |
