PURPOSE:To develop a connection for rigid joining of both bar-shaped members in the case of joining rigidly the bar-shaped members by welding a projecting member at one end of the bar-shaped member and a recessed member to the other member, fitting the projecting member and the recessed member, and fastening the central part thereof by means of a bolt. CONSTITUTION:A projecting member 2 having a taper is welded by a joint part 6 to the top end of a bar-shaped material in the stage of joining rigidly the bar- shaped member 1 of a square or round shape to the other member 3. A recessed member 4 having a recess of which the joint surface is in tight contact with the member 2 is welded by a joint part 7 to the member 3. The projecting member 2 of the member 1 is fitted into the recess of the recessed member 4 of the other member 3 and the central parts of the fitting part between both members is fastened by means of a bolt 5. The connection for rigid joining of the bar-shaped members without welding and joining on an assembly site is obtd. by the above- mentioned method. |
