<p>A diaper with a core between face and backing sheets has a fastening tape secured at one end to the backing sheet, and a reinforcing tape adhered on its non-adhesive surface to an adhesive surface of the fastening tape free end so that the reinforcing tape tip projects beyond a non-adhesive grip tab on the fastening tape free end. The fastening tape end can be secured to a point on the diaper with interposition of the reinforcing tape to secure the diaper around the waist, and can be peeled off and reattached without peeling off the reinforcing tape. The tapes are pref. of the same width and the reinforcing tape is coloured to distinguish it from the backing sheet.</p> |
