摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the variation of sheet thickness in controlling the variation caused by a load variation in sheet rolling by normalizing the information obtained by substracting an effect of rolling speed from the load variation caused by an eccentricity of backup roll, into a fixed periodic wave and controlling the normalized wave. CONSTITUTION:An eccentricity-controlled, control-remaining load variation DELTAPDi+1 (t) (line III) at the preceding identification stage (i) and at the present one (i+1) is obtained basing on a sheet thickness W variation caused by eccentricity of back-up roll and by using a load variation of load cell and a driving speed V of motor. Next, a load variation DELTAPi+1 (t) (line I ) caused by the eccentricity in a controlless condition at the present identification stage (i+1) is calculated basing on an eccentricity controlling quantity DUEi+1 (t) (line II) at the preceding control. A servovalve is controlled so that the control remnants come to zero. The controlling accuracy of sheet thickness is improved because roll gap data are not used.</p>
