PURPOSE:To manufacture a steel pipe-concrete composite pile at low cost by placing concrete into the space between wall-thickness regulating plates attached to fitting portions provided near the upper and lower ends of a steel pipe. CONSTITUTION:Fitting portions 16 are formed by welding plural nuts 14 to the upper inner surface of a steel pipe 13, and plural nuts 19 are welded to the inner surface of a reinforcing ring 17 welded to the lower inner surface of the steel pipe 13 to form fitting portions 21. The edge portion 22 of the steel pipe 13 and the ring 17 is cut. A wall-thickness regulating plate 24 having a through hole 23 is fixed to the upper end face of the steel pipe 13 with bolts 25, a wall- thickness regulating plate 27 having a through hole 26 is fixed to the lower end face of the steel pipe 13 with bolts 28, and the steel pipe 13 is inserted into the molding frame of a pile. Concrete is injected into the space between the thickness regulating plates 24 and 27 and hardened, and the pile is removed from the molding frame and then the plates 24 and 27 are removed. |
