PURPOSE:To sidplay a character train which is difficult to discriminate for persons excepting the incoming subscriber by registering previously the number of the originating subscriber in the form of a character train desired by the incoming subscriber. CONSTITUTION:An exchange 12 transmits a connection request signal including both outgoing and incoming subscriber numbers to an exchange 11 in response to a connection request of subscriber. The exchange 11 transfers each subscriber number to an originating subscriber number converter 14 after deciding that a subscriber's private device 111 contains a character display function and can receive an incoming call. Then the exchange 11 gives a request of conversion. The device 14 obtains the identification information on originating subscriber corresponding to the originating subscriber number from a conversion store part 141 corresponding to the subscriber 111. This identification information is transferred to the subscriber 111 via the exchanger 11, and a specific character is displayed at a display part. |
