PURPOSE:To improve a measuring precision of a flow rate by detecting the flow speed and concn. of a powder by a microwave, detecting simultaneously the water contained in the powder, and correcting the detected concn. basing on the detected result of the water content. CONSTITUTION:The powder A is transported by an air flow flowing through a transporting pipe 2 connected to the bottom side of a hopper 1. The flow speed of the powder flowing through the pipe 2 is detected by a flow speed detector 3 using microwave, and the concn. is detected by a concn. detector 4 using microwave. Furthermore, the moisture content of the powder filled in the hopper 1 is detected by a moisture detector 5 using microwave, the detected concn., flow speed and moisture content obtained from these detectors are processed by a calculator 6 and the flow rate is measured. |
