A motor has a permanent magnet synchronous rotor which is displaceable into at least two positions to perform different functions and comprises magnetically shunting discs outside the rotor in order to prevent a displacement force decreasing when the rotor is drawn into the yoke. In Fig. 4 a non-magnetic disc 31 separates the shunt discs 16 from the permanent magnets 29 whose poles are formed by grooves. |
