PURPOSE:To enable the dense packing of toner in a recovering box by providing a packing plate which is moved by expansion and contraction of shape memory alloy in a toner recovering box provided inside of a copying machine. CONSTITUTION:Toner 12 fallen from a toner falling port 13 accumulates in the toner recovering box 11. The accumulation of specified quantity of toner is detected by an optical detecting device or a piezoelectric device that detects weight, and shape memorizable alloys 17a, 17b are contracted by heating. By the contraction of the shape memory alloys 17a, 17b, the toner packing plate 15 supported by rotary movable fulcrums 16a, 16b is moved as shown in the figure. Recovered toner 12 is densely filled to the innermost part of the box 11 by the action of the toner packing plate 15, and a cavity 14 is eliminated. Then, the recovered toner is accumulated further in the cavity 14. Thus, by providing the toner packing plate moved by the contraction of the shape memory alloys, the toner is filled densely and automatically to the toner recovering box. |
