PURPOSE:To achieve a printing without mixed color with a high density by arranging a plurality of nozzles for injecting ink drops in several colors horizontally in a row at a fixed interval while in the number N per color. CONSTITUTION:As a driving shaft 2 of a platen 1 is rotated with a paper feed motor 3, a paper 4 is fed in the direction of the arrow A. A carrier 30 scans reciprocatively in the direction of the arrow B along the platen 1 with the rotation of a head scan motor 29. An inject print head 31 is carried on the carrier 30 and fed with inks of four colors through ink feed ports 20-23 from four ink feed tubes 28. In this case, the scanning range in the direction 8 of the arrow is 4XP. In the printing thus done, inks are overlapped in the uniform order thereby stabilizing the color tone. |
