PURPOSE:To prevent disconnection and short-circuit of electrodes and to enhance light absorption by laminating the electrode, a light absorbing film, and reflective film in succession on the whole surface of writing region. CONSTITUTION:An electrode 21 made of ITO or the like, a light absorbing film 22 made of CdTe or the like, and a light reflective film 23 made of Al are successively laminated on the whole surface of at least the writing region of the substrate 20 on the side to be irradiated with writing laser beams in a liquid crystal light valve holding liquid crystals between two electrodes 20 and 28. Disconnection of the electrode 21 can be prevented by forming the electrode 21 separately from the reflective film 23 and strengthening the adhesion between the electrode 21 and the substrate 20. The short-circuit of the electrode 21 at adhering parts can be avoided by not permitting the reflective film 23 to face the other electrode 27 at the adhering parts, and further, good light absorbance can be obtained by using the ITO. |
