Diglycidyl-substituted pteridine compounds of the general formula: <IMAGE> I wherein n is the whole number 1 or 2, R2 and R2 are the same or different, and are either hydrogen, a hydrocarbon radical, or together form a 5- or 6-membered carbocyclic or heterocyclic ring; processes for their preparation; and compositions and methods for their use as cytostatic agents.
