The flat jewellery case comprises the base dish (1) and the lid dish (2) hinged to the latter. An insert body (3) formed from plastic film is located in the base dish (1). Said insert body has a drum-like raised region which is formed by an annular bead (3b) and a dish-like cover plate. The latter is provided with a channel-shaped bearing (4b) in which there are placed one behind the other an elastic clamp clip (7), surrounded by the wristwatch (9, 9a), and a support body (8). When the case lid (2) is closed, watch (9, 9a) and clamp clip (7) are completely pressed into the bearing (4b). When the case is opened, the clamp clip (7) is released in the direction of its small diameter. By displacing the support body (8) underneath the clamp clip (7) the watch (9, 9a) adopts a desired sloping position favourable for the viewer of the displayed item of jewellery. Means for arranging further items of jewellery such as ear clips, pin and ring are provided. A necklace is spread out around the hollow web (3b). <IMAGE>
