PURPOSE:To improve durability and reliability by coupling an arm and a weight together through a hinge, and rotating the weight and reducing a thrust-directional component of force when the shaft of a detector body slants from a horizontal state. CONSTITUTION:The angle detector 11 holds the arm 16 invariably perpendicular by the gravitational force of the weight 17. When the boom of a crane equipped with the angle detector 11 is raised, the housing 14 of the angle detector 11 rotates counterclockwise accordingly. Therefore, the weight 17 moves relatively to the housing 14 to rotate the shaft 15 through the arm 16. The angle detector 11 detects the rotation of the shaft 15 through a potentiometer 12 and detects the angular displacement of the boom. |
