PURPOSE:To enable removal of fluctuation of re-recording position of control signals due to change of elongation of a tape by performing rewriting of a controlling signal twice in the direction at right angles to the direction of running of a magnetic tape. CONSTITUTION:A control signal obtained on a slave tape 20 by collective take- up contact magnetic copying is reproduced. The reproduced signal is recorded once on the audio track at the position perpendicular to longitudinal direction of the slave tape 20 from reproduced position. Then, the control signal is reproduced by the second control signal reproducing head 26 provided on the audio track. Similarly, the control signal is re-recorded at the position at right angles to the longitudinal direction of the slave tape 20 through the second control signal recording reproducing circuit 27 and the second control signal recording head 28. By this way, fluctuation of re-recording position of controlling signals due to change of elongation in longitudinal direction of the tape can be removed. |
