PURPOSE:To improve the function and performance of use by informing an alarm message of sound recording start time, call elapsed time, sound recording residual time and tape end so as to inform the sound recording state to a caller. CONSTITUTION:After a tape recorder section of a head 19 reproduces a transmitted meassage of a head 14, the section sound records a call message from a caller of a telephone set 1. A control section 25 is provided with a timer section, a voice synthesizing section 7 performs voice synthesis for the sound recording start time of the call message counted by the timer section and outputs the time to the tape recorder section of the head 19 and to the caller of the telephone set 1. Further, the synthesis section 27 performs voice synthesis for at least one of the call elapsed time, the residual time of call message and the alarm message of tape end counted by the timer section and informs them to the caller. As a result, the caller can know the sound recording state of the call message, allowing to improve the function and performance of use of the automatic answering telephone set 28. |
