PURPOSE:To perform surely and accurately position control of a reel idler at non-contact position by detecting a moving position of the reel idler by a position detecting means and applying pulse driving to a reel motor by a motor control means based on the detected signal. CONSTITUTION:When the mode is set to the PB mode, a reversing pulse current having a pulse width of T1 is outputted from a driving circuit 28 by a command from a CPU18, a reel motor 29 is reversed for a time T1 and stopped and the reel idler 10 is moved slightly. Then, the CPU18 discriminates whether or not a switch 25 is turned on when a time T2 is elapsed and when the switch 25 is turned off, the said operation is repeated again. When the reel idler 10 moves near the position of the reel stand 7, the switch 25 is turned on and the CPU18 outputs a stop cmmand signal immediately after the time T1 to stop the drive of a reel motor 29 and the reel idler 10 stops the movement at the prescribed PB position. Since the reel motor 29 is driven by pulse, it is stopped instantly without being coasted. |
