PURPOSE:To attain remote gage examination without starting a subscriber telephone set by catching a gage examinating device with a start from transmitting side device and connecting the device, receiving a subscriber number via the gage examinating device and connecting the device to a subscriber terminal. CONSTITUTION:In an electronic exchange of the stored program control system, a remote gage examinating device NRT is accommodated in a trunk link frame TLF and a subscriber terminal device SUB-B counting the amount of use of civil water, gas and electricity or the like is installed in parallel with a subscriber telephone set SUB-A. When a device number is received from a calling side device at the gage side, the device NRT corresponding to the number is causght, the device is connected to the calling side device via the frame TLF, and the subscriber number for gage examination is received via the device NRT. Further, the device NRT calls the corresponding device SUB-B via the frame TLF and a line link frame LLF, and transmits/receives the information for remote gage examination nd attains the remote gage examination of the amount of civil water or the like counted by the device SUB-B. |
