PURPOSE:To decrease tracking error by turning a head in response to the displacement of a sliding angle of a sliding member and decreasing the angular displacement of the head to a track in a sliding type optical recording and reproducing device. CONSTITUTION:Since a pulley 26 is not moved to a shaking arm 22, when the arm 22 is shaken, the relative angular position of the arm 22 to the pulley 26 is changed, the winding position of a belt 29 to the pulley 26 is changed, resulting that the winding position of the belt 29 to other pulley 27 is changed and the pulley 27 is turned by an angle in matching with the shaking angle of the arm 22. Thus, a head 28 is moved in parallel while keeping a prescribed attitude during the movement, an angular change delta of a disc 25 to an information track is much smaller than the angular change theta in a conventional example and the tracking error is very small. |
