In a levelling device for pneumatic suspension springs comprising a cam 21 for actuating pushrods 1, 2 controlling inlet and outlet valves 3, 4 from the springs, the push-rods 1, 2 are normally retained in an inoperative position clear of the cam 21 by compression springs 35, except when the vehicle is stationary and compressed air supplied to a inlet 5 acts upon pistons 24, 25 to overcome the spring bias and engage rollers 22, 23 on the push-rods 1, 2 with the cam 21. From the inlet 5 air passes to through conduits 6, 7, 8 and check-valve 10 to the inlet valve 3 which is opened by the push-rod 1 upon anticlockwise rotation of the cam 21 to supply air to the springs through conduits 12, 13, 14 and outlet connection 19. Upon opposite rotation of the cam 21 the push-rod 2 opens the outlet valve 4 to connect the outlet connection 19 with an exhaust passage 17. Wire gauze filters 36, 37 are provided in the inlet and outlet connections 5, 19 which are arranged at the bottom of the valve body to facilitate drainage of oil and condensation.
