PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for an attenuator corresponding to a subscriber by attenuating the contents of a channel switch memory at a multiplex level in case of connection to other stations at a time division exchange. CONSTITUTION:An ROM10 is provided between a channel switch memory 4 and a demultiplexer 7 of a time division line concentration switch. The ROM10 is divided and one area is written with a data read from the memory 4 corresponding to each address and the other area is written with the data read from the memory with attenuation corresponding to each address. In case of the connection to the own station, the pattern not attenuated is read and in case of connection to other stations, the attenuated pattern is read. Thus, the attenuator corresponding to each subscriber is not required in this way. Further, the area of the ROM is divided into two in this case, and the area can be divided into n-set of areas. |
