PURPOSE:To facilitate the retrieval by indicating which channel is retrieved when a duo film is used and processing a +1 or -1 frame feeding command as a command concerning a displayed picture row. CONSTITUTION:A desired frame number Y to be retrieved is inputted from an input device 70 to a storage circuit 71 and is stored; and when a retrieval start button is depressed, a frame number (x) of a channel A of contents of a counting circuit 72 and contents Y of the storage circuit are compared with each other by a comparator 73, and a signal of x>Y, x<Y, or x=Y is outputted in accordance with the result. In case of x>Y, a film is fed from a take-up reel to a cartridge direction. When a mark on the film reaches a lower mark detector, the counting circuit 72 is counted to subtract. Contents of the counting circuit 72 and contents Y of the storage circuit 71 are compared with each other by the comparator 73; and if they do not coincide with each other, the film is fed continuously, and a coincidence signal is outputted from the comparator 73 when they coincide with each other, and a control circuit 74 stops a film driving motor 75 by this coincidence signal. |
