A fabric-fastening strip has a series of thermoplastic filaments extending from it on one surface. The filaments(3,4) are of different heights and have mushroom-shaped integral heads(2). There may be two or more different heights of filament, but in each case not more than two adjacent filaments are of the same heights. The strip may have alternate short and long filaments, or may have two alternately short and two long. Alternatively, if three or more heights are used, the levers may be arranged randomly.
