PURPOSE:To realize an improved heat efficiency, by providing a heat exchanger for shifting the heat quantity of various components of hydraulic power plant to a low boiling point cooling medium, and a turbine to be actuated by means of the gas of low boiling point cooling medium to be generated by the heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION:A piping connection is established between an evaporator 31 incorporating a fron and a heat-generating section such as a hydraulic turbine guide bearing oil reservoir 4, a generator lower portion guide bearing oil reservoir 5, a generator upper portion guide bearing, thrust bearing oil reservoir 8, a main transformer oil tank 6 and the like. The fron gas which is caused to boil inside the evaporator 31 enters into a heat recovery turbine 36 for rotating the same turbine 36 and used by a heat recovery generator 37 for generating electric energy. In this manner, a lost energy is recovered, and thereby improving the thermal efficiency of entire power plant. |
