PURPOSE:To prevent deterioration of density of a dye image by forming at least one layer made of a polymer having repeating units each represented by a specified general formula on a support. CONSTITUTION:At least one of layers formed on a support consists of a mordant polymer having repeating units each represented by formula I in which R1-R3 may be the same or different, and each is 1-20C alkyl or 7-20C aralkyl, and at least two of them may combine with each other to form an N-contg. hetero ring; X<-> is an anion; and (n) is an integer of 1-10. This photographic element can form a dye image insusceptible of photochemical change or photodecomposition. |
