PURPOSE:To set a hull in the optimum situation by installing a buoyancy plate having a blade sectional form onto an outboard motor body, thus permitting the buoyancy of the hull to be adjusted. CONSTITUTION:In order to install a buoyancy plate 3 onto the both side surfaces of an outboard motor 2 at the position under the water surface, even when the outboard motor body 2 equipped with a propeller 1 in the lower part sails, a screw part 4A having a radially uneven surface is installed, and a screw part 4B is integrally formed onto the side surface of the buoyancy plate 3, and the buoyancy plates 3 are fixed on the both side surfaces of the outboard motor body 2 by an installation bolt 5 so that the installation angle can be varied. The buoyancy plate 3 is formed into a blade sectional form, and the buoyancy can be adjusted by varying the angle with respect to the outboard motor body 2 through the screw parts 4A and 4B. |
