PURPOSE:To make it possible to prevent head light driving motors from being damaged by burning due to the out-of-range condition of a possible light axis adjusting range, by restricting the upper and lower limits of the absolute value of a light axis setting voltage from a light axis setting circuit or a light axis detected voltage from a light axis detecting circuit. CONSTITUTION:Comparators COM1, COM2 compare a voltage Vd detected by a light axis detecting circuit LDC in accordance with head light axis angles and a light axis setting voltaged Vs set on a light axis setting circuit LSC, and left and right drive motors ML, MR are rotated in accordance with the thus obtained deviations to set the light axes of the head lights. Zener diodes ZD2, ZD3 for restricting upper and lower limits of the absolute value of the output voltage Vd or Vs are disposed in the light axis detecting circuit LDC or the light axis setting circuit LSC. Thus, the voltage for setting the light axes and the voltage for detecting the light axes are not out of the range of possible adjustment of light axes, thereby the front light driving motors are prevented from being damaged by being burnt. |
