PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of motive power transmission in rapid rotation, by providing a diaphragm spring with centrifugal weights to add an assisting force to the pushing force of the spring for a push disc under the action of a centrifugal force. CONSTITUTION:In a clutch with a diaphragm spring 10, when a control lever 13A is operated in a direction A, a slider 13B and a release bearing 13C are moved toward a first disc 2 to push the inner edge of the diaphragm spring to separate the peripheral part of the spring from a push disc 6 to disengage the clutch. Centrifugal weights 20 are provided in equiangular positions in the slits 10A of the spring 10 so that the weights can slide in the longitudinal directions of the slits. An annular wire 23 is provided around all the centrifugal weights 20 to limt their outer radial positions. A wire 22 is inserted through the holes 21 of the weights 20 to limit their inner radial positions. |
