PURPOSE:To obtain a hinge, a magnetic hinge applied to the joint of a swivel arm and the like, with no requirement for adjustment of coercive force by providing a round magnetic plate and a round steel plate overlapping each other around a friction plate in a nonmagnetic casing. CONSTITUTION:A round containing part 3 is formed in the internal part of a round casing 2 made of nonmagnetic material and a ring spacer 4 made of nonmagnetic material is fitted in the containing part 3. A member formed by overlapping a round magnetic plate 6 with strong magnetic force and a round friction plate 7 made of fiber and the like is fitted and fixed onto the inner periphery of the spacer 4. Further, a round steel plate 8 is fitted, in contact with the edge face of the spacer 4, on the opening side of the casing 2. Furthermore, a cover body 9 made of non-magnetic body is piled on the outer face of the steel plate 8, and a push screw 12 screwed in a projection 11 projected from the outer edge of the cover body 9 pierces the cover body 9 and the steel plate 8 to come in contact with the edge face of the spacer 4. A hinge 1 thus formed is installed on a pivotted member such as an arm and the like through fitting members P1, P2. |
