The drilling auxiliary device serves for the dustfree production of straight bore holes in walls etc. and for the production of mutually aligned bore holes and edges in the right-angled connection of boards by means of pins. The drilling auxiliary device consists of a rectangular plate 1 with a hollow cylindrical neck 12 which extends upwards at an angle of 90 DEG and into which a likewise hollow cylindrical extension 13 is inserted. A lid 25 provided with a cellular-rubber coating 26 can be pushed onto the underside of the plate 1. With the drilling machine inserted, the drilling machine neck bears against the extension 13, 22 and the drill is guided through a drilling sleeve 3 inset in the plate 1. A container is thus created, from which no drilling dust can escape and straight bore holes are produced by means of the double guiding of the drilling machine. By means of pins 9 which can be inserted into the plate 1, the bore holes can be drilled on all boards with the same distance to the longitudinal and transverse edge, in the case of boards to be connected at right angles. A depth scale arranged on the extension 13 and a fixing ring 21 make possible accurate adjustment of the drilling depth. <IMAGE>
