Injection gun and related execution of the process for combating rising damp in masonry by borehole pressure impregnation (pressure injection process)

Process for the continuous processing of various impregnation materials on the market (siloxane, silicone, silane, methyl siliconate, water-glass and their mixtures, etc.) by the introduction of an injection gun into a previously bored 10-mm diameter borehole, wherein the gun can be arrested during the working phase by means of a ring arranged on the valve shaft, and can be frictionally sealed by rotating a quick-fitting coupling with a left-hand thread and a spring seal arranged at the front end. The process can be used for virtually all wall thicknesses, since extension pieces of any length can be fitted to the injection gun. The method can be carried out without any of the injected impregnation material being lost. A plurality of injection guns can be used alternately during the working process by actuation of the quick-fitting coupling and without the machine losing pressure. The small diameter of the boreholes, 10-12 mm, permits rapid execution and the pressure injection eliminates refilling (as with the use of plastic bottles).
