System for manipulating trucks in underground mining operations having at least one guide track which is attached on one side with two rails for the wheel flange running wheels, provided with wheel flanges, of the trucks, and having at least one carrying chain which is arranged in the manipulation area, circulates continuously and is driven permanently. The carrying chain is designed as a flat link articulated chain and the flat links are provided with a wheel flange receiving element and with a wheel flange carrying element. The wheel flange carrying elements have a soft-elastic support made of rubber and/or plastic into which the wheel flanges can be pressed. In the case of a relative movement of the wheel flanges with respect to the wheel flange carrying elements, the soft-elastic supports have a flexing resistance which brings about a transmission of movement variable from the carrying chain to a truck which is to be accelerated.
