PURPOSE:To make an aluminum base securable without entailing any crack on an outer tube bulb of soda glass, by screwing the aluminum base in a screw mold part, while sealing the base after pouring the low melting point solder composed of tin, zinc and lead into this concave part. CONSTITUTION:A light emitting tube used for a 85-watt high pressure sodium vapor lamp is inserted into the inside of an outer tube bulb 1 made of soda glass and a diameter of 70mm. in the largest part, which a screw mold 2 and a concave part 3 are formed in its sealing part, screwing an E26A aluminum base 4 in this screw mold part 2, and furthermore the low melting point solder composed of tin 44%, zinc 12% and lead 44% is poured into the concave part 3. As a result, the aluminum base 4 was secured to the screw mold part 2 in optimum conditions and there was no hindrance even in time of lighting, much less any crack on the outer tube bulb 1. |
