Process for adhesively bonding a covering

Process for adhesively bonding a covering, especially a plastics covering, onto a surface, a plastics dispersion adhesive prepared with water and containing a fine-grained filler being applied as adhesive layer to the surface to be adhered to and the covering being pressed onto this. The filler is an ettringite-forming substance which is added to the plastics dispersion adhesive directly before application to the surface to be adhered to. This is done in such a way that at least 75% of the water of the plastics dispersion adhesive in the adhesive layer is bound in a crystalline manner by the ettringite-forming substance.
